Terms of Service
These are the rules for using Lastimer. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.
1. Who you're agreeing with
Lastimer is operated by Oliver Atienza, an individual developer based in the Philippines ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means the person using the app.
2. Your license to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Lastimer on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play.
3. Your account and data
Lastimer initially signs you in anonymously — no username or password is required, and your data is tied to a device-generated account ID. You can optionally sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In at any time, which lets you back up your data and access it from another device. If you do, your existing data is linked to your signed-in account and we receive your name and email address from the provider. We never see or store your password.
If you uninstall the app or reset your device without first signing in (so your account is still anonymous), you may lose access to your data. We are not responsible for data lost this way.
You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID or Google account secure. If someone gains access to it, they may also be able to access your Lastimer data.
You can export your data (Settings → Export) or delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Delete account) at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Lastimer Pro subscriptions
The app is free to use with limits. Lastimer Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks higher limits, home screen widgets, and removes ads.
- Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), at the price shown in the store at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Price changes. If we change subscription pricing, the new price applies to renewals after notice is given through the relevant store.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for anything illegal or to infringe on someone else's rights.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law allows.
- Attempt to disrupt the service or other users (e.g. by abusing the backend or generating excessive load).
- Resell or sublicense the app or any of its features.
6. Third-party services
Lastimer relies on third-party services (Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob) to function. Your use of those services through Lastimer is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of those services.
7. Disclaimer
Lastimer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or free of bugs. We don't promise that data will never be lost — please export regularly if it matters to you.
Lastimer is a tracking tool, not medical, legal, or financial advice. Don't rely on it for anything safety-critical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Oliver Atienza be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of Lastimer. Total liability for any direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You can stop using Lastimer at any time by uninstalling the app and, if you want to remove your data, deleting your account first. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change is material, we'll try to give reasonable notice in the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of Lastimer will be resolved in the courts of the Philippines, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring the claim elsewhere.
